WELCOME

The Wales Coastal and Maritime Partnership (WCMP) is a non-statutory advisory group that brings together all those with an interest in the marine and coastal environment of Wales.

Our aim is to achieve common objectives to create a cleaner and healthier marine environment for Wales. We provide advice to the Welsh Government on sustainable development issues affecting the coast and seas of Wales.

  • "The way forward"

    Home

The Marine and Coastal Access Act 2009 gives Welsh Ministers new powers to better protect and manage the marine environment. This will help Wales contribute to achieving the vision of clean seas, that support vibrant economies and healthy functioning ecosystems that are responsibly managed.

We must all ensure that the value of our coast and seas is maintained for future generations
